Day ONE - 196.8 lbs.
8:00 am - Woke up late, I had to start at 7:00 am but just couldn't I took my glucose levels, injected Victoza, took my metphormine and drank my first vanilla milkshake. It was good. Plus, the supplements: Potassium Vitamins and Sodium.
10:00 am - ONE Hot Cake. added a pinch of cinnammon AND the supplements
Water Water Water Water Water WATEERRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Being used to diet sodas and bubble gum to avoid hunger, on this diet, one cannot have bubble gum because it brings you out of Ketosis, as well as the soda. I can only have non-flavored sprinkle water and ONLY two glasses. Cannot drink lemonade cause Lemon is a fruit and it has sugar so I am limited to one lemon per day
EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL is mandatory - 2 tbspoons at lunch or dinner.
I am not used to drinking water. At all. So this now is for me a great sacrifice.
13:00 pm - Nuggets with half Tomato (100 grms) YUM! they were delicious. and the portion was very nice. These were made pouring the envelope contents on water and then on a pan with no oil butter or else.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaater.
16:00 - OMG... I was told the Vanilla pudding was not a nice meal. THEY WERE RIGHT. I tried it just to have my own conclusion and I literally forced myself to eat it. It was good at first, but halfway the taste was like... like.. MELOX! yes, it reminded me of that horrible horrible medicine. I left 1/3 behind. Couldn't keep going.
Cant wait for dinner at 19:00 hrs. I am feeling the hunger creeping in.
19:00 - Tortilla with vegetables (Nopales = Cactus) don't laugh, in Mexico this vegetable is very good, it is normally taken by diabetics cause it helps to lower the sugar levels. I can have 3 cups of this vegetable.
I was starving by this time so I ate 1/2 an hour earlier. DEVOURED the nopales and the tortilla, really I didn't wanted it to end...
HEART BURNNNN!!! Since this morning I've been experiencing heartburn, what I don't know is, if I can take a pill or something for the relief, I need to ask the doctor, meanwhile, I'll just have to drink water.
22:00 - Chocolate Pudding.... OH MY GOODNESS!!! what is wrong with these puddings? seriously!!! They taste horrible, and I had to eat it because I was straving!! Eventhough I wanted to chomp my poor doggys head, I had to stop eating that pudding the flavour was horrendous. I dont know what I'm going to do, cause I have TWO BOXES almost full and (besides they are expensive - $30.00 USD EACH BOX!) I need to finish them cause I don't have any extra envelopes!! Bad choice. On the other hand, the glucose had gone down about 20 points. That's a good thing.
23:41 - Almost bedtime. HUNGRY HUNGRY HUNGRY! and although I am trying to control mind over matter, the old tradition of the midnight binge comes to mind.

Oh and the dryness in my mouth is starting to kick in. A normal Ketosis side effect. YUCK
...and in my fat girl inner thought, all I can think of is SUSHI.
The thing about PRONOKAL is once you have started, YOU CANNOT eat anything else but the envelopes. If you break the diet, you break the ketosis mode and then you have to wait for three months before starting it again. So now I am inside this diet, now I have to "man-up"!
