I feel like a failure. I will be going to the endocrinologist for other options. Pronokal is a great diet. It worked for me for a while, but my illness goes way beyond the psychological matter. I think it has something to do with the insatiability... I cannot stop eating.
UPDATE September 2017:.
I AM RESTARTING PRONOKAL. I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED.
Wow, I haven't checked your blog for a while and was very surprised to see these updates.
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone - I've been on pronokal for about a year now and since December I've been losing and gaining the same 4 kilos over and over again and it's frustrating. For me the problem was I was so consumed with what I wasn't allowed to eat that the minute I allowed myself a break I binged then had to spend the next month shedding that binge. I started experimenting with other ketosis diets and I'm on a mix of pronokal and atkins now. It works for me - I don't feel deprived so I don't binge.
In any case, thank you for your testimony - it really helped me when first starting this diet.
I hope you succeed with your weight loss, however you choose to go about it.

Dearest Ellie, Believe it or not, you have been a great inspiration for me, and I have decided to give it one more chance to Pronokal. I've made another Dr's appointment for next Tuesday and start again. I heard a long time ago about the Atkins Diet, but never really payed attention to it. I really hope those mischievous four pounds of yours go away for ever!!!
DeleteSending you lots of hugs! Alexandra.
I'm so pleased I could inspire you like you inspired me. Good luck - I'm looking forward to reading about your success :)
